conn to dbase errors

hi all, legs here very new to dis, so easy on da flames, yeah trying to conn to mysql, on localhost/80 on a windoze box. my include_once 'DB.php' line werks ok, so i can assume/verify 'that' I am 'actually' using pear via php, etc etc. On my 2nd line try s to conn to mysql dbase, here it returns an conn error an booms; ################################# # $conn = DB::Conect ("mysql://user:pass@Myserver/mydbase"); #i f DB::isError($con)) { echo 'Conn Error:', $conn->gretMessage(); # exit; # } else { #### if pass here then al good ############# ### other wise it'll on a error ### OK! # i am only a newbie }; ############################### love dis open stuFF, it rocks
