Hi....
I've been able to successfully install several copies of the PEAR installer
on our servers....up till now. With the latest version of the installer
http://go-pear.org i've come across a permissions problem in
that it cannot
create a temp directory when installing Archive_Tar or Console_Getopt.
The error message is Unable to create directory '/tmp/:Yh02NK'. However,
when the script fails I can create the directory with the same user login
that I am executing the install command with. I am using the command
lynx -source http://go-pear.org | php
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
