Hi Alan a bit more flexy feedback after doing a site from scratch with DO and the latest CVS flexy: 1. the '--' char sequence may be invalid xhtml but it's very handy for generic html comments, sometimes i have to cut and paste other people's code into a template so it would be handy if these didn't cause parse errors
Fixed in CVS
2. disabling of form parsing at the global ini level would be a useful feature, the previously discussed method of feeding back errors seems to require less code:
Fixed in CVS flexyIgnore = 1 in the ini file, or as options per template should work.
<div style="color:red" flexy:if="error[username]">{error[username]}</div> 3. disabling template notices at a global ini level would also also be handy, the current method of reducing error_reporting temporarily works in many situations but if you're overriding PHP's default error behaviour there can be problems
I'm not sure how this would be done. - any ideas? -
4. i would get a lot of PHP errors along the lines of cannot inherit from undefined class 'HTML_Template_Flexy_Token_Tag' in HTML\Template\Flexy\Token\EndTag.php after adding an html tag attribute in a template like border="0"
Fixed in CVS Regards Alan
This error would persist until I deleted the compiled template and recompiled from scratch. cheers Demian
