The function 'setURLEnvVar' is very limited, what if I use mod_rewrite (and REQUEST_URI doesn't suffice). Instead of asking for an enviroment variable, why not accept the whole string instead?
Er, like this method already does? http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.html.html-menu.html-menu.forcecurrenturl.php
Next up, what am I supposed to do if I'm not running this package from the root of my server? There's no setBase(/pathtomodule/) function... I'd have to write my data array as: /pathtomodule/item1.php, /pathtomodule/item2.php, etc.
Can you submit this as a bug report, for easier tracking?
