I think that those people who manage the mailing list do not realize that
these failure notices make PEAR look really amateurish. The problem has been
reported multiple time but it seems that a) nobody cares b) nobody has the
know-how to fix it.
No to say about the spam we get on the PEAR-CVS mailing list...
