I changed $demoResult = $db->query($sql); to: $demoResult=$db->query($sql); // REMOVING THE SPACES which solved the problem. I guess I'm a newbie at PHP too.. BUT now when I test for an error after the I get one bugger... the error returned is : DB Error: unknown error very useful..
