Hi Lukas Smith! You wrote:Whoever does take it, PEAR desperately needs a OO-based File class instead of the current static method collections (File2? File_Object?). Directory_Lister or something along those linse might be a better name. Anyways, if it is a different competing package, does anyone see a problem with that? Josh and I have been talking about writing such a beast to replace the Io class in phpDocumentor - it would also be used in PEAR_PackageFileManager, and by any project that needs the ability to selectively list files with ignore/inclusion by wildcards. GregHi, ok Richy still maintains HTML_Treemenu and Net_Url. Tal currently doesnt have time for any package. So we also need maintainers for: - FileI would volunteer to take this (after the Amsterdam Conf). It's an ineteressting package I used in several projects. Should not be that difficult to dig into it. I don't know, what's about Cipri. I emailed him a while ago (since he volunteered first) and emailed the list this noon. If he is willing to take it and has the necessary time, I do not want to withdraw it from him.
