Thought about unmaintained package (Net_IRC in this case)

Hi guys, Is there anything _wrong_ with suspending bugs on a package that isn't maintained anymore and there is a superior package that does the same, and well better ? (in this case Net_IRC vs. Net_SmartIRC ...) IMHO it's okey to mark all Net_IRC bugs as suspended... but need more feedback from folks before taking any action :) Thomas says self in all the bug reports, that he won't fix anything unless he gets a diff to commit, and I asked Davey moments ago to update the package info page to say it's unmaintained and point to Net_SmartIRC (I'm though still waiting for Davey to reply :)) So gimme your feedback on this folks! - Helgi
