Hi all!
Since there has been very few feedback from all sides to the PEAR QA
survey (as I provide on http://zuhause.bei.tobias-schlitt.de/PEAR_QA/)
I
assume that there are no further objections against that. Thanks to
everyone of you providing constructive feedback!
My preferred processing now would include the following steps:
- Publish the survey website on a public webserver (if pearweb is not
feasible for that: I got 30-40 GB traffic remaining per month on my
webserevr, should be enough to roll out the survey).
- Ask for user feedback through this survey on official PHP and PEAR
mailinglists (@lists.php.net), inofficial local mailinglists (e.g.
php@phpbar.de) and newsgroups.
- Hopefully announce the survey in available PHP magazines.
- Hopefully invent a link on pearweb.
- IMO a duration of 2 month should be enought time. After that I'd
process some interessting results out of the collected data and provide
it to you all. The collected data should afterwards be delivered to the
pear-group to be in safe hands.
Please provide me some feedback latest until the weekend to enable me to
publish that survey before christmas.
With kind regards,
Toby
