Take over HTML_TagCloud package

Dear Pear-QA-Crew, I'm interested in taking over the HTML_TagCloud package which has been marked as unmaintained. My intention is to extend the existing sources with more functionality. I'm already using the sources of HTML_TagCloud in different projects and found out, that some things are missing essentially. Despite to that I would like to fix the open bug that is listed in the tracker for over 200 days by now. About me: I'm a full time developer at a large research institute in Germany. I spend half of my time developing PHP for different projects, which are mainly web applications. I've been working with PHP for about 5 years by now (first 2 years semi-professional) and I've contact to one of the main PHP developers. I'd be very pleased for your feedback.
