I tried it.
It does not work out of the box.
Normally, you do
$ pear install packagename
$ pear run-tests -p packagename
This would work for phpt tests. For phpunit tests, you run
$ pear run-tests -pu packagename
That command causes pear to detect the AllTests.php file and runs it.
Your package does not ship it, but you should.
Further, executing the tests is not possible, because I get:
$ php Net_FTPTest.php
Warning: require_once(../Net/FTP.php): failed to open stream: No such
file or directory
in /home/cweiske/Dev/cvs/pear/instpear/share/pear/tests/Net_FTP/tests/Net_FTPTest.php
on line 40
Even in your unit tests, you should require the files as you would in
normal pear files.
For an example of an alltests file, see the net_wifi package.
