Hi Martin Jansen!
On 06/15/04 12:13 you wrote:
Can it be extended from PEAR Auth? Not sure what PEARWeb auth looks like...
Currently there is no way to perform "external" authentication against the password database. But we might add an XML_RPC method to handle this, to which access is only allowed from certain (== wiki.pear.php.net == pear.php.net) IP addresses. Just let me know if this is fine for you.I will try wrapping the PEARWeb auth with a PEAR::Auth container first. That seems the much more feasible, since we could maybe even use the redirection to PEARWeb login page. Will see, what that gives. Else the RPC method would be nice. Even, since we wanted to have that for other purposes, too. Btw. Martin, got any news on HTTPS?
If everyone agree's, I'd ask Martin to set that stuff up (if help is needed, I'm sure Paul can assist, right?).
I would be ecstatic. =D
Once you guys have set up something, just drop a mail to the webmasters list so that we can have a look.On the way. :) Regards, Toby -- Tobias Schlitt GPG Key: 0xA6529579 a passion for php http://www.schlitt.info
