I don't think we need to do anything like this for now -- the load is
really moderate these days: http://pear.php.net/~mj/rrdtool/load-daily.png.
The spike at 04:00 is a daily cron job which does a number of things that
eat up a bit of resources, but other than that the machine is doing
absolutely fine.
