Edit report at http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=3882&edit=1 ID: 3882 Updated by: arnaud@limbourg.com Reported By: arnaud at php dot net -Status: Assigned +Status: Open Type: Feature/Change Request Package: Web Site Operating System: N/A PHP Version: Irrelevant Assigned To: mj New Comment: For info the parsing on NetNewsWire 2 latest beta was improved and the feed is now rendered properly. I don't know what you might want to do then. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-04-02 03:18:26] arnaud at limbourg dot com NetNewsWire2 on OS X. Opening http://pear.php.net/feeds/latest.rss directly in firefox will also have the same effect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-03-22 06:18:10] mj at php dot net Can you point us to an aggregator that fails, so that we can reproduce the issue? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-03-19 05:58:26] arnaud at php dot net Description: ------------ The description element of the feeds (the latest release feed for example) may be rendered incorrectly in some aggregators. The description shows in one line making hard to read. A solution could be to add cdata to the description element. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=3882&edit=1
