I don't know dbSessions and I do not want to say that
it's useless or bad, but:
Is there really any point that is speaking against
taking PHPLIB session stuff into PEAR?
IMO PHPLIB is _the_ php library code that has been
checked, tested and improved most. And even if it's
somehow outdated: Let's take it and if it's not good
enough then we can improve it as much as we want.
PHPLIB has everything you need for good session
support: Especially the CL_* classes to store
session data in lot's of different containers
do not exist in other projects in such complete
form. And as far as I followed the discussion,
there is also a wrapper class to support the
PHP 4 session functions somewhere.
