I just think that the PHPlib is a professional and really good piece
of code and i would like to see many concepts to be found in PEAR.
On the other Side, i believe that just dropping PHPLIB "as is"
into PEAR, is absolutely not the way it should be.
A nice imagination would be, that in the PHPLIB container is something
like an application framework, wich uses standalone PEAR components
and gives you a base for web applications.
Of course, you can combine the standalone components by yourself but
PHPLIB could be a platform for big PEAR based applications where many developers
are involved. The lib´s "spirit" AND functionality would reside in PEAR.
PHPLIB would become PEAR´s pre-configured Application Server or something
like that.
This way, the PHPLIB Container in the PEAR Tree would make sense to
me.
