I have finished PEAR-ifying a set of Chem related
classes (Atoms, Molecules, Proteins, etc.), along with
specific parsers for molecular structure files (PDB,
XYZ) and some examples/tests.
sounds cool, but I see two problems here
a) where do we put it? (Math?) (I'll start a thread on this)
b) it is no common code, where do we put exotic code?
I think PEAR should not end up like CPAN where it is impossible to
differentiate between common and exotic code (the fact that we only
want high-quality code in PEAR already has been discussed ;) )
How could I contribute them to the PEAR classes? I do
not have karma to add/checkin to the pear CVS rep,
only to the phpdoc tree.
send a karma request to rasmus (?) do we have a designated karma spender?
Also have classes for matrix, vector, complex numbers,
etc. but had not gotten around to PEAR-ifying them
yet.
go for it :)
