Okay, this needs to be phpdoc-ified, and split into the relevant class files, but attached is my current working Mail implementation. It works like so: Mail class - provides the interface for Mail implementations, and support functions for turning headers and recipients into useful forms, etc. Also provides a Mail::send() implementation that uses php's built-in mail() function, as a lowest-common-denominator. Mail_sendmail - sendmail implementation. Mail_smtp - SMTP implementation. Net_SMTP - actual SMTP socket code (uses Net_Socket). This is split out so that if there are ever native smtp functions in php, a new implementation can be done fairly cleanly. It's all fairly modular. It _doesn't_ yet provide things like a MimeMessage class for adding parts, but all of that can be added on to this framework. I'll work on documentation as I have time, but I'm interested what people think? -chuck -- Charles Hagenbuch, <chuck@horde.org> Many states consider gambling so immoral that they not only prohibit private gambling organizations, they thoughtfully provide their own.
