Hi,
I am currently working on a Benchmark class that will, time different
functions and return the execution times for these functions. Anyway, one of
the functions prints results to the screen, and I was wondering, if our
functions print results to the screen what is the line ending. PHP is often run
as an apache module and people usually access it through the web, so should the
line ending be a '<br>', but then that would exclude people who work with PHP as
a CGI and want to run it via the command line.
Right now I am leaning towards the function returning an array of
benchmarks, however, I still think that a default line seperator is something
that should be discussed.
