The whole point of pecl to foster extension development; it's never
too soon to get it visible.
If you don't already have a CVS account, this is the point where I
would ask you to sign up for one.
Right now we have an outage with our master server, so we can't create
a new account.
Since you already seem to have an alternative CVS, this probably isn't
a huge problem; if you are ready to publish a beta PECL package, you
may still sign up for a PECL account and upload the tarball.
