I think I'm ready for a preliminary code review for PECL inclusion. FYI, as per some brief discussion on PECL-dev IRC, I moved the code to its own repo: https://github.com/cubiclesoft/php-ext-sync Lost a couple minor bits of commit history and one stargazer. Oh well, it is probably for the best.
