xdebug and apd problems

hi
i am not able to use xdebug and apd. i use php5.1.x-dev on windows. i
thought it`s somehow connected with different versions, so i downloaded
fresh copies of everything (php5-win32-200410190230). besides one line in
apache error.log (Failed loading php_xdebug.dll
or Failed loading php_apd.dll) and quite the same in system log (
The Apache service named Apache.exe reported the following error:
>>> Failed loading php_apd.dll <<<
before the error.log file could be opened.
) there is no info about reasons. extension loading directives from php.ini:
zend_extension_ts = "php_xdebug.dll"
or
zend_extension_ts = "php_apd.dll"
extension_dir is fine, other extensions load normally. i use apache 1.3.29.
what am i doing wrong?
