Hello,
I have created a PHP extension which allows you to find information
about IP addresses and hostnames, such as what country they are located
in, what city/region they are located in, postal code, and
longitude/latitude. Also, it can determine the connection speed and ISP
as well. It does this using the GeoIP C library. The GeoIP C library is
licensed under the GPL, and can be found at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/geoip/. If
possible, I would like to
contribute this extension to PECL.
