Hi,
I am getting segfaults/bus errors when using APC.
I am using APC-2.0.4 compiled as a DSO to cache Horde/IMP.
%> /usr/local/bin/phpize
%> ./configure --enable-apc --with-gnu-ld
I am also using a daily snapshot of PHP (php4-STABLE-2005011819)
because the current stable 4.3.10 gives compilation errors with my options:
./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --with-gettext
--with-xml --with-dom --with-pgsql --with-mcrypt --with-iconv
--enable-mbstring
--with-mbstring=all --with-zlib-dir=/usr/include --with-imap
--with-openssl --with-ldap --with-kerberos --with-imap-ssl
Debian Sarge with 2.6.8-smp kernel on an UltraSPARC e450 box with 2
processors.
gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-5)
I am not sure how to enable debugging for APC. If I enable debugging in
PHP but not APC, PHP can't load APC and I get no segfaults.
I also tried compiling APC statically per the INSTALL instructions, but
I don't think it's getting used. The app is slow and nothing shows up
under phpinfo().
Thanks for any pointers.
