Tou have to install header files and build after you make your php debug build. What is happening in your case is that you have mixed up debug/non-debug build and modules. Edin I build APC after building/installing debug enabled PHP.
What header files do you have in mind? How do I install them? I already know that I need to enable debugging in the module (APC) itself and it would be helpful if you told me how to do so. Arshavir

Hi, I am getting segfaults/bus errors when using APC.

Do you have a backtrace? regards, Derick

Maybe this wasn't clear. I cannot enable debugging for APC (no such option in ./configure --help) and without it, PHP won't initialize/load APC. And without APC loaded, I get no segfaults/bus errors, hence nothing to debug. This is what I see in my Apache logs. PHP Warning: Unknown(): apc: Unable to initialize module\nModule compiled with module API=20020429, debug=0, thread-safety=0\nPHP compiled with module API=20020429, debug=1, thread-safety=0\nThese options need to match\n in Unknown on line 0 If you could tell me how to enable debugging in APC, I will try to get a backtrace. best, Arshavir -- PECL development discussion Mailing List (http://pecl.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
