from the description the pear "bundle" command seems somewhat misleadingly named ..?
C:\php>pear help bundle
pear bundle [options] <package>
Unpacks a Pecl Package into the selected location. It will download the
package if needed.
Options:
-d DIR, --destination=DIR
Optional destination directory for unpacking (defaults to current path or "ext" if exists)-f, --force
Force the unpacking even if there were errors in the packageregards, Lukas
