Hi,
I am having trouble running a custom extension that previously worked on
Fedora Core 3. I installed Fedora Core 4 and removed PHP 5 (because I had
strange crash when using it with my extension, although my extension compiled
ok, and I thought the extension interface might have changed). I installed PHP
4.3.11, which my extension is working with on other linuxes, and compiled my
extension with it.
My crash is after returning from a function in my custom extension, in
php-4.3.11/Zend/zend_execute.c line 1658. A more complete description of the
problem is here:
http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=33538
What I wanted to ask is the more general question, is anyone using any
version of PHP 4 on Fedore Core 4 ? Fedora Core 4 uses gcc version 4, and I
was thinking that this might be the root of my problems, that there is code
that doesn't work with gcc 4.0 either in my extension or in PHP.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
