Re: unresolved external symbol _mysql_real_escape_string when building with PDO

It sounds like there's a problem with your build environment (I could be wrong though). Are you sure your mysql header files match up to the library files you have? It's also possible that the win32 build doesn't perform very thorough checks for library capabilities, and that it only builds with the version of mysql that Edin has on his build machine. --Wez.
