By using a prepare/bind/execute statement in replace of the query statement it works.. So something weird in the way the query is called within a custom session handler causes some sort of translation, Almost like a reverse bind??
I can not replicate this outside of a custom session handler though.

I am trying to translate Mysql based session method over to PDO and am getting some really weird results. Below is the serialization string I am getting in my registered sess_write function I put a mail function to email me the serialized string and am getting savethis|i:99;twonow|a:4:{s:5:"comp1";s:5:"comp2";s:5:"comp2";s:5:"comp3";s:5:"comp3";s:5:"comp4";s:5:"comp4";s:5:"comp6";} But in the database I get savethis|i?;twonow|a?:{s?:"comp1";s?:"comp2";s?:"comp2";s?:"comp3";s?:"comp3";s?:"comp4";s?:"comp4";s?:"comp6";} I am using a normal pdo->query() method I can't seem to replicate this in a small script so was hoping someone could point something out before I do a bug report
