Hello,
this function add a function in the pecl fam extension:

fam_next_event_timeout(resource id, int timeout_seconds, int
timeout_microseconds)
Get next pending FAM event or quit after the timeout
-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-
this is usefull for writing little sheduled applications.
