Hello Everyone,
I am planning on creating a PHP extension to libSVM[1]. I have some preliminary code; before I code in earnest to make it complete, I would like to know if anyone has done this already AND has made it available as open source.
I already have a PECL account and CVS commit access; is it safe to presume that I can use these credentials and privileges to check in the new extension?
I am planning to name the extension php_svm and check in the project in pecl as "svm".
The extension (php_svm) itself would be released under PHP license; libSVM, from its FAQ, uses modified BSD license[2].
TIA
Vijay Aswadhati
