I'd rather have something linked against a library and use API calls
than system calls.
I cannot find the code I wrote a few years ago now, but it was simple:
two commands, one to read, and one to write.
You passed it an existing image, and it would modify the image as you
desired, although I would want to be able to do it on the fly (i.e.
add stegonography in real-time) - that would be more beneficial.
Almost like
header("Content-type: image/jpeg");
readfile("foo.jpg");
It would allow you to output a stegonagraphically(sp) signed image
instead, altering the bits in real-time. Something like this:
header("Content-type: image/jpeg");
stegonography_output("foo.jpg", "text");
If anyone is interested in developing/sponsoring it, I'm willing to
put in some funds. Also if you're willing to contribute and think this
would be useful by all means contact me. I'd try to hack something up
myself but I only go as far as procedural PHP, I just cannot wrap my
head around C, so I have to find other means of motivation for other
people to work on things that will ultimately benefit all of us.
Thanks,
mike
