I was stating that upgrading the packages seems to work fine so I assumed I
could download the PECL packages and create the extensions through PEAR on
WIN32 - it seems I did this through the upgrade so I was questioning your
answer, you said it could not be don eon Win32.
Anyway I was building the PEAR stuff fine it seemed but erroring; saying
that mbstring wasn't installed.
Now I am getting the same thing with the mailparse.dll; the extension for
mbstring is enabled as so should work.
extension=php_mailparse.dll
extension=php_mbstring.dll
Cheers
Ian

Win32 build doesn't support building packages as standalone extensions.

Is that a statement or a question?

It depends on the mbstring extension.
