Hello,
I am the maintainer and main developer of phpredis, a client extension to
the fast key-value store Redis (http://redis.io/ ).
The phpredis project was started in the summer of 2009 by a Spanish
developer, who stopped working on it soon after. With the occasional help of
a co-worker, I have been adding to the project for the past 14 months,
giving it a new home at https://github.com/owlient/phpredis.
The source comes with a simple script to build a Debian package, but making
phpredis a PECL extension would help our users get a standard source
archive.
phpredis comes with 2000 lines of documentation in markdown format (for
github) and a large number of phpunit tests; I am ready to convert those to
phpdoc and .phpt if those are the requirements of the PECL project.
I will be applying for a PECL account soon, this is just a heads-up to
introduce myself and the project.
All suggestions and comments are welcome.
Regards,
Nicolas
