PECL Perl compilation and bug reports

Hi, I noted that the PECL Perl module has issues compiling (Dmitry (maintainer) explained the main issue is fixed in SVN). Noted that whilst I probably can't help much with the coding, I could at least tidy up some bug reports (delete nonsense, flag as duplicates etc), and perhaps master some of the mysteries of doing a release, changing licence revisions etc. As such I plan to apply for a dev account. I'm just a regular PHP developer who happens to use this module, and would like to help where possible. Have done maintenance work for the GNU project so have reasonable understanding of those aspect of the role. Still mastering the PHP way.... Simon
