Introduction and new PHP extension: textconv

Hello, My name is Hiroyuki Yamamoto. I live in Japan, and am working for SRA OSS, Inc. Japan (http://www.sraoss.co.jp/index_en.php). I am a developer of Sylpheed (http://sylpheed.sraoss.jp/), which is an open source e-mail client. I have created textconv PHP extension, which is a PHP interface for libTextConv library, and I want to publish it in PECL. It is created using CodeGen_PECL. LibTextConv is a C library which converts binary document files such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF into plain text. LibTextConv only depends on libarchive, zlib and GLib library. You can use libTextConv for applications such as document management and search systems, processing of attachments in e-mail systems. http://www.sraoss.co.jp/prod_serv/package/libtextconv/index_en.php LibTextConv is a commercial software which SRA OSS, Inc. Japan sells. At this point, it is sold only in Japan. I cannot make libTextConv itself public because it is a commercial software. Instead I made a stub library for build-testing purpose.
