Hi,
I'm developing ext/id3 with Stephan Schmidt. In id3_remove_tag() I used php_stream_truncate_set_size(), which seems not to be documented in the PHP-manual but I found the proto for it in main/php_streams.h.
With PHP5 it works fine but I encounter problems, using it with PHP4:
-sh-2.05b$ pear list
PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php4/id3.so' - /usr/lib/php4/id3.so: undefined symbol: php_stream_truncate_set_size in Unknown on line 0
Can I use php_stream_truncate_set_size() in PHP4? Does anyone know what's the problem?
