Become a mantainer of wxphp

Hi, I'm jefferson known as jgmdev when I connect to the #php.pecl to ask questions :) I'm writing because I would like to maintain the code of wxphp extension, I'm already maintaining it but on the following sourceforge project page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxphp/ *svn co http://wxphp.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/wxphp/trunk wxphp* Also I created a website (with design made by my wife) in an effort to move the project forward: http://wxphp.org/ Beside contributing the website I have done a lot of changes to the wxphp sources. Previously the project used gccxml to obtain information about the wxWidgets library and automatically generate the extension code to bind the library to php. I changed all that to use the xml output of wxWidgets doxygen documentation. Also improved (almost rewritten) the source code generator, added documentation to code, examples, building instructions, as some other tools to generate reference of the binded code. The features I have worked/added: Code generation now supports many more different prototypes and a lot of new bindings were enabled Virtual Methods (overriding virtual class methods now work as expected) Static Methods (Class::Method() now works) Constant Objects (Access to global objects like wxNullBitmap) Handling of multiple overloaded methods Destruction of objects if necessary Passing of php arrays to C++ methods with arguments like Type*, Type[], etc... Correct handling of argument references Methods returning references to parent object example: $object->Method(true)->Method(false) Generation of wrapping code for wxWidgets global functions Improved config files Implementation of custom magic method __get to retrieve wxWidgets c++ classes properties Conditioned code with WXPHP_USE_DEBUG to print messages during the extension execution for debugging, Since theres so much code this helps trouble shoot bugs a lot Implemented a template based system for the code generator, where specific class methods templates can be written as some other things many other things... I believe that with some changes the code generator can be adapted to create the wrapping code of any library that uses doxygen to document itself or even other input format. Back in subject also I added PHP support to the wxFormBuilder project in order to have a ready tool to design forms: http://wxformbuilder.org/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/wxformbuilder/files/wxformbuilder-nightly/ Current code compiles with latest wxWidgets svn trunk on Linux/Mac OSX and Windows with some changes described on README_MSW I decided to help on this project since I'm really looking forward to do other things on php beside web development, and since I was already familiar with wxWidgets. Most of the work I do is using PHP so I wish I can do other things with the language to not be switching so much of languages :) Also development with php is a breeze!
