Last weekend I modified the code generator for wxphp replacing the usage of PHP resources by a custom zend_object as Johannes pointed out. So now the wxResource object property isnt used to store the native object pointer. http://wxphp.org/wxphp/blog/from-resources-to-zendobject Also some time before, I made a custom zend_method_call_with arguments (for variable amount of parameters) in order to cache the PHP user space called method on C++ class virtual methods. I also wrote an interface generator in order to have wxwidgets code completion on IDE's with PHP code completion, not perfect but it works pretty well. http://wxphp.org/wxphp/blog/code-completion-interface-file Best Regards
