Can you try this test: function do_nothing($str) {on win32 so far: w/o php_zlib.dllreturn $str;} ob_start("do_nothing");
ob_start("foobar"); works
ob_start("strlen"); crashes
ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); works (does not crash)
with php_zlib.dll
ob_start("foobar"); works
ob_start("strlen"); crashes
ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); crashes
