I successfully built and tested the Apache Module and the CGI versions on the following platform :

"--enable-ftp" \
"--enable-bcmath" \
"--with-db2" \
"--with-mm" \
"--enable-memory-limit" \
"--enable-sysvshm" \
"--enable-sysvsem" \
"--disable-pear" \
"--with-ldap" \
"--with-mhash" \
"--with-sablot" \

for the CGI configure line, remove --with-apxs and add --enable-discard-path and --enable-force-cgi-redirect
MAKE TEST
Concerning the following test results, consider that I compiled with --disable-pear
That leaves us with two failed tests.

To compile in Mcrypt, Zlib and PDF support, you have to configure once with --with-mcrypt, and another one adding the pdf options, then another one with all options. It seems that the configure tends to "forget" about previous checks... This behavior has been present for a long time and probably everybody is aware of that.
