I already mentioned that all these tests probably fail due to the crlf difference between unix/win32
had no time to look into it...

This is win specific and is due to the / and \ issue although I dont know
why dirname(/foo/) is /
beyond that "/" should result in "\" for win32, I'm not sure if "/foo/" should result in "/" too (as sascha provided an unix doc and no OS independent RFC or something)

as long as no zend expert provides an user-land (expert-only) deep copy function, this one won't fix
