I think the thesis was more along the lines that we would basically be calling everything 4.1.0, 4.2.0, 4.3.0, etc so why bother... I remember you saying it as well, so Jani didn't make it up, even if none of what you said, what you meant, what he heard, and what I heard match up :-) FWIW: I think adding features to a third-digit release is wrong, and we should not do that.
