Configure pbls with 4.1.1 on Solaris 2.6

Some weird behaviour shown by php 4.1.1 'configure' - at least on
Solaris 2.6 + GCC -:
- with-xpm-dir=mydir is not honored, instead mydir/lib is searched.
Maybe this is standard behaviour, but the Xpm package I installed (got
fromm SunFreeware.com) is installed in /usr/local/lib/X11
- with-sybase-ct=mydir also is overlooked, in favour of SYBASE
environment variable (which happens to be different on the particular
workstation I'm using)...
