Can I suggest that the fortnightly bug summary be amended to include the bug submitter's name alongside each bug. That way it is easy for anyone who has ever submitted a bug to check if they have accidentally left open a bug which has long since gone away. That should reduce the workload of those of you doing a fantastic job clearing the list.
