I checked out the 4.0.2 rc1 source from cvs half an hour ago, this is what's giving me the build error =)
META comment^H^H^H^H^H^H^H kibbitz: Ya know... It would be Really Nifty (tm) if ./configure and those QA test messages we're getting had a unique ID number in them that differentiated CVS as of time tick A as opposed to just "4.2.0 rc1" which may or may not really be what is on the download page as "4.2.0 rc1"... Any reason why this isn't just automatically spewed out as the first line of each process (configure and that nifty new QA test report thingie) and/or before any error messages are actually output in the build?... -- Got Music? http://l-i-e.com/artists.htm
