Only one comment so far. I think it might be more helpful for the local UGs if the time frame were a bit more flexible?. Would it be possible to say that the UGs can run their events any time in May or June?
I have added a note about the option to allow June as well. However we need to remember that we want mentors to be available as well so that we can give short feedback loops. The more we stretch the time, the more likely it will be that mentors will feel overwhelmed.
Another possibility (based on the success of the May/June events) would be to pick more dates later in the year - but maybe it's too soon to be thinking about that :-)
Sure. We can see how things go. The more people we have working on tests, the more potential mentors we have to spread the load. I could also see that future TestFests might be focused entirely on one extension in order to make it easier to ensure the availability of mentors (in this case the given extension developer might ask to have a TestFest for his extension while promising to be available for quick feedback loops for a certain amount of time). I made some more changes based on feedback by Ilia and the others here: - no SFTP interface option, instead multiple files can be uploaded as a zip - reviewers do not need to update the URL to the final version on cvs.php.net on the web interface, instead they are encouraged to include a link to the submission in their commit regards, Lukas
