I expect a _lot_ of refactoring to happen inside phpruntests, so I would not recommend relying on any internal API of phpruntests today.
Some areas more than others I think. The basic inner workings are (under testcase and sections) are structurally OK, at least, I'm finding it easy to maintain. The configuration is less good and needs some rework and we need to fix exception handling. Actually Stefan is right - there is still a lot to do :-)
Hi, Don't worry, I'm keeping an eye out for eventual inclusion in Pyrus, but have simply ported over PEAR's RunTest.php to PHP 5 for the mean time. You may be interested to know that in my tests running Pyrus's tests, the runtest implementation in Pyrus was 30-40 seconds faster in a 2:30 second run than the new run-tests as of 3-4 weeks ago. This was running in series, not in parallel. I'm sure parallel execution would kick its butt. Greg
