Hi,

That's a good idea, I was obliged to save/restore the config each I created
a special function {foo args...} which internally echoed some text from a
smarty template....
So it is a good point.
By the way when I run smarty under windows, perhaps the same with Unix, if
the cache folder doesn't not exist it creates the cache at the root of my
drive, and did not succed to load them.
In fact I have a /cache folder, but my system uses modules, and each module
is cached in /cache/modulename/ so the 'modulename' folder must be created on
the fly...
To solve that I have put some comments in the _get_auto_filename function:
//loic if(@is_dir($auto_base)) {
$res = $auto_base . DIR_SEP;
//loic } else {
//loic // auto_base not found, try include_path
//loic $this->_get_include_path($auto_base,$_include_path);
//loic $res = $_include_path . DIR_SEP;
//loic }
I start to have this problem with the last version after upgrading from
version 2.1.1
Thanks,
loic
PS: I was looking for a caching of the config since a long time...
