Hi,
AFAIK PEAR's SOAP will not be developed in the future and all efforst are
toward php-soap (C module)
Shane, please correct me if I am wrong.
However php-soap is still on sourceforge and not moved to PHP's CVS server.
Will it be PECLed or
in the standard distribution? I've heard that this October there will be
beta version of the module - now it is
alpha , Brad develops the module and he has to say when :))
SOAP work with php-soap is quite easy and much faster then any PHP coded
solution.
I've done benchmarks and they showed 30x speedup. Look on MARC archives or
on sourceforge mailing
list to see more.
Andrey
